Missions Ministry Intern
Esther was born and raised in LA but wanted to experience the full four seasons and moved to the city with one of the coldest winters in the US - Chicago. She graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Social Policy. Upon graduating, she was given an invitation to staff with InterVaristy campus ministries but felt that the Lord was calling her to be abroad. She therefore decided instead to move to Korea and lived there for 3 years teaching English. Upon returning back home, she worked for a healthcare non-profit organization for 2 years. After years of exploring her calling, Esther finally felt the Lord clearly leading her towards receiving further theological training for future missions/faith-based justice work. She will begin her MA in Theology in the fall of 2017 at Talbot. Esther’s passion is to take part in God’s restorative and redemptive work in the cities and to the nations.
Esther loves both lounging at home watching movies, and traveling all over the world going on new adventures. She loves both nature and all things green, and cities and people-watching on public transit. She loves both trying new exotic foods, and eating the same Korean comfort foods 3 meals a day.

Upon her return, Gina was hired as TLA Administrator/AMI Missions Coordinator and began pursuing a Master’s in Global Leadership at Fuller Seminary. She continuously strives to be clear and single-minded in the Lord as she grows into her new learning and ministry roles.
When she isn’t nerding out on spreadsheets, Gina is exploring new coffee roasteries, doing DIY projects, and talking about life with friends at a local cafe.
Daniel is the Youth Director at Tapestry LA Church. He was radically saved during a youth retreat, an experience that shaped his belief in the potential of the young people whose lives are wholly surrendered to God. He has travelled and ministered in various countries, including India, the Middle East, South Africa and Europe. He, along with his wife, pioneered a ministry called Come and See in Switzerland, which seeks to serve the local churches by providing intentional discipleship and empowering the believers to fully live out their identity in Christ.
Daniel and his wife, Marie, whom he met in YWAM, have two daughters, Anna and Mila. His free time is spent mostly with the family. His hobbies are sports, both playing and watching, and eating good food. His passion is to see the power of God manifest in and through the lives of the believers by the empowering of the Holy Spirit.
