YouthTapestry Youth exists to encourage and challenge students to become disciples of Christ. Our desire is to see students encounter God, be transformed by the love of Christ, be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and be in the community that is Tapestry Youth. We do this through Gospel-Centered and Spirit-Empowered teaching. Together, we want students to make an impact for Christ in their schools, communities, and families. We want them to take part in the Tapestry that God is weaving over history, and to be a part of the story that He is writing out.
Aaron is the Youth Pastor at Tapestry LA Church. He first sensed a call to pastoral ministry in high school soon after first experiencing the redemptive love of Christ expressed in the Gospel message. He graduated from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and is currently working on a Master of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology. Aaron feels most alive when thinking through and unpacking the gospel applied in a church or societal context, when helping others experience solace or healing through the act of listening and care, or when helping others further discover the depths of God’s love in Christ through the exposition of scripture. He and his wife Jenn also love global missions and have hopes of doing long-term global mission work in the future. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, reading books, playing basketball; or rooting for the Dodgers, Lakers, or any UCLA athletics.
11:15AM during second service
We are located on the second floor during both services, right next to the staircase.
Once a month, we have outings that help cultivate a community where students are able to grow in their relationships as brothers and sisters in Christ.
